Writing Truth - 2015

Installation at the Herron School of Art and Design - Indianapolis, IN

“I am not a monster” has been written hundreds of times during a therapeutic exercise meant to remind the writer of the truth: Despite being raised by a monster, they themselves are not a monster. Upon further inspection, the writer realizes that no matter how much they try to convince themselves they are not/will not become a monster, the only real way to ensure that is through being redeemed through their faith.
